This annual event at Pensthorpe Conservation Trust was held on Saturday 12th May 2018. The glorious morning weather attracted many visitors to enjoy the wildlife in the extensive grounds and also the craft activities and information stands.
Graham, Venetia, Alvin, Trevor, Lynda and Phillip were kept very busy on the NBKA stand. Both adults and children were keen to spot the queen bee in the observation hive. Many candles were made and a new worksheet/activity was used for children to stress the importance of honey bees for pollination of plants which are used as our food.
