Beginners’ workshop – Saturday 13th July 2019

Beekeeping Beginners’ Workshop on Saturday 13th July 2019 from 9.30am until about 12.30/1.00pm at Easton & Otley College Sports & Conference Centre, Nr. Norwich

Have you ever thought about keeping honeybees yourself but didn’t know where to start? Well we can help you to see if it is the hobby for you.

The Norfolk Beekeepers’ Association are holding a Beginners’ Workshop aimed specifically at those who are interested in keeping honeybees and wish to know a little more about them and what is involved in beekeeping.

The morning will start with a “Powerpoint” presentation and talk about the honeybee and its activities. After this we shall have a coffee break during which you will have the opportunity to see various items of beekeeping equipment, talk to beekeepers and ask them questions.  We will then move to the Easton College apiary where we shall open beehives and you will be able to get a close up of bees at work.

The Cost: £5.00 non-refundable

The course is now sold out. Thank you for your interest.
